From June 1-14 and August 24-September 6, Floridians can stock up on critical emergency supplies without sales tax. Exempt items include portable radios, batteries, generators, tarps, and various pet supplies. This holiday helps ensure residents are well-prepared for hurricane season, reducing the financial burden of stocking up on crucial safety items.

Freedom Month

Throughout July, Florida celebrates "Freedom Month," offering sales tax exemptions on a variety of entertainment and recreational activities. Concerts, sporting events, movie tickets, and gym memberships are all included. Additionally, outdoor enthusiasts will find savings on life vests, kayaks, camping gear, and other outdoor activity equipment.

Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday

From July 29-August 11, families can prepare for the upcoming school year with tax-free clothing, footwear, backpacks, and school supplies costing less than $50. Even personal computers priced up to $1,500 will be exempt, ensuring families can meet their educational needs affordably.

Skilled Worker "Tool Time" Sales Tax Holiday

Running from September 1-7, this holiday provides skilled laborers with savings on essential tools and equipment. Hand tools, power tools, safety gear, ladders, and toolboxes are among the items included in this program, allowing workers to invest in their professions without added financial strain.
