Frequently asked questions

Still have questions? Call (877) 994-5277 or see all FAQs.

Does Florida still cover windshield replacement with no deductible?

Yes. What Florida actually has is Fla. Stat. § 627.7288: if you carry comprehensive coverage, your insurer waives the deductible for windshield replacement specifically. That's windshield-only; door, rear, and quarter glass take your normal comprehensive deductible. The 2023 law (SB 1002) prohibits offering anything of value in exchange for making a glass claim — it did not end the deductible waiver. We confirm your exact coverage free before any work. This is general information, not legal or insurance advice — coverage varies by policy.
